Michael Hirschuber

Michael is a photographer & editor currently based in Minneapolis, MN (willing to travel/move). He graduated from Iowa State University where he studied elementary education in hopes to become a teacher. After working for a full school year as a fifth grade teacher in Wisconsin, he decided to change careers and pursue his passion of photography. He has a desire for photographing sports and telling a story through his lens. He is currently working as a freelance photographer with a background of working with a couple major companies and sports teams. He has a goal of navigating his way through the industry, building relationships, and perfecting his craft within this art.

As mentioned, Michael has been given wonderful opportunities to work for the Minnesota Vikings as a Full-Time Seasonal Photo Editor, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL as a Photo Editor and logger (for major events such as: Miami Open Tennis Tournament & F1 Miami Grand Prix), work with Adidas Grassroots Basketball as a photographer, a freelance photographer for Red Bull, document local high school sports teams through the means of storytelling a season, and lastly, to be able to work within his community (on a freelance basis) in Minnesota to strengthen his connections in the industry, while also tapping into different avenues of his creativity.

Michael has a deep passion for meaningful stories. In a world filled with chaos, he believes that the power of storytelling through imagery can bring meaning and understanding to it all.

If he is not behind the lens, you will find him running long distance, reading his book of choice, or spending valuable time with friends and family.
